I would set up my trench much like all of the WW1 trenches were set up, except they wouldn’t be as bad. I would have it be more cleaner, I know it is war and their is little time to do anything except fight but their has to be some people that aren’t fighting that can help. They can at least do simple things like make sure there aren't any dead bodies just lying around because that would make things more messy. Some strategies to protect myself from the enemy would be to have more barricades in “No man's land.” This would make it harder, nearly impossible to take over our trench. Another way I would protect myself is by giving better weapons and protection to the soldiers which they can use to their advantage in the trenches. Now for the weather, if their was bad weather while we were fighting I would have to make sure to stay as dry as possible. The rain can interfere with the weapons and handling them. In order to stay dry we would need some type of protection against the rain. In the rain we would have something to cover ourselves with while making sure it’s not to much of a risk.
